**This is a long term contract position - intended to last at least 2y**
The Senior Security Architect will:
Define, operationalize, and document the security architecture and assessment function.
Develop, standardize, and document reference architectures, specifically zero-trust architecture.
Determine and apply appropriate controls and criteria for security architecture reviews.
Secure enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems.
Prepare security standards, policies, and procedures.
Plan security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; developing requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices.
Design public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards on-prem, remote (DR), and cloud environments.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Senior Security Architect with a deep understanding of security principles and best practices.
Strong knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and identity and access management.
Experience in designing and implementing zero-trust architectures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certification(s) in relevant security domains (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred.qualifications:
